Läpakaga on nüüd üks jama lahti, sisse lülitades küsib Drive Lock Password-i. Lapse arvuti on, õhtul oli arvutis, pani kinni kõik oli OK ( tema jutu järgi ), järgmine päev tahab Passi. Mõtlesi mis seal ikka viskan Windowsi plaadi sisse ja teen formati aga ei. Ei taha buutida CD-lt.

Hea mõte on Compaq (HP) esinduses lasta parool maha võtta (kui nad seda muidugi oskavad). Kui paroolindus on sel läpakal vähegi adekvaatselt tehtud (mida ma küll ei tea - neid on igasuguseid), siis kodus seda maha võtta ei õnnestu.

Aeontechnology@www.technibble.com I have the Answer for all who need a password or CMOS password or hard drive passwords. (For windows only!) Desktop are as follows. If the BIOS is password protected, Like in previous posts, All you have to do is remove the CMOS battery and reset the jumper. Laptops on the other hand my be a little more difficult. Most can be recovered my just removing the CMOS battery for 30min others need a little to a lot more work. Some as above have master passwords that can reset to OEM. Some like most dells require you to call dell for them to try and generate a password for you if the password fails you will be required to send to dell for them to replace the motherboard because of the BIOS backup chip located on the motherboard right below the CPU (or if you are truly gifted replacing this chip yourself). If your under warranty then your fine, If the CPU was given to you just transfer the ownership on dells support website and your fine, dell will be happy to replace the board and you are only out 15 days. But if you don’t have a warranty it will cost you about $50 to acquire a temp warranty so you can get the same service. Those who don’t want to pay or have gotten there laptop by ill gotten gains are S,O,L, unless you find a way to replace the motherboard or chip. As for all hard drive passwords on desktops and laptops, you have two option, a program that creates its own BIOS to format the hard drive like SecurErase 8 or the ever famous password recovery tools that people like to use ( keep in mind that those programs need the windows BIOS to create there own so if the BIOS is locked your S.O.L. As for the second way just use a legit OS and reformat the hard drive and you will be back to square one. but remember that some ways you will loose all data and others you just will recover your lost password. I hope this was somewhat helpful to those don’t know or would like some light shed on this subject!
